A significant portion of this course involves practical placements, offering hands-on experience to launch a meaningful career.
After completing this program, you'll be eligible to pursue professional certification for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
Learn from expert tutors with extensive experience in further education. Complete mandatory placements of at least two days weekly in educational settings.

Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant subject.
GCSE: level 2 equivalent in both English and Maths.
Good information and communications technology (ICT) skills.

IELTS 7.0 overall with 7.0 in all four elements, or accepted equivalent English qualification as listed on our English language requirements.
Youll normally be pre-service and your entry onto the programme will be conditional upon the University identifying a suitable placement and mentor in the subject specialism.
Non-academic requirements
Youll be required to complete a satisfactory enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) Enhanced Disclosure, register with the Independent Safeguarding Authority and complete a criminal convictions self-declaration form. Find all of the important documentation you'll need when applying for this programme
