The PGCE Religious Education program at King's College is located in central London, offering trainees exceptional access to diverse places of worship and cultural institutions like the National Gallery. Standard requirements: A minimum 2:2 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree. If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
Programme-Specific Requirements, Academic requirements: either a degree in theology or religious studies; or, a joint degree in theology or religious studies and one other subject; or a 2.2 or above in a subject where theology or religious studies constituted roughly 40 per cent of the content of your degree, particularly philosophy; or a higher degree containing a range of theological or religious studies components such as a master's or a PhD. In addition to: GCSE grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification, in English Language and mathematics. Applicants without these English or mathematics qualifications at the time they apply may be considered, but they must obtain them, or pass an equivalent test approved by King's, before the course starts. Overseas students will be required to demonstrate IELTS of 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill. TOEFL IBT 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23  in each of the other skills.
