At the Ruminant Population Health Research Group, our mission is to enhance sheep flock health and welfare through rigorous multidisciplinary research. Our team specializes in epidemiology, flock health, and production, partnering extensively with academic researchers both within the University and externally.

Additionally, we maintain strong collaborations with farmers, veterinarians, and industry professionals to ensure our findings translate into practical applications that benefit sheep farming operations.

Qualification Requirements

2:1 first degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject, or 2.2 first degree (or international equivalent) and a masters degree, both in a relevant subject. Specific projects may also require that the applicant holds a veterinary qualification. Clinical projects: 7.5 (7.0 in each element). Science projects: 6.5 (6.0 in each element), IELTS - 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element), TOEFL (iBT) - 87 (with a minimum of 20 in speaking and 19 in all other elements)
