Our research focuses on investigating the psychological and neural processes that govern behavior, as well as psychiatric and neurological disorders. We combine human studies with rodent model research to bridge mechanistic findings from animal models to human applications.
A primary focus involves examining the fundamental principles of typical behavior, applying associative theories to clarify essential processes like learning, attention, memory recognition, and time perception. We also prioritize uncovering the neurological foundations of these behavioral patterns.
Additionally, we strive to advance understanding of psychological symptoms and their neural underpinnings across various disorders, including schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, addiction, stroke, and cognitive decline associated with aging.
