Since not all qualification options are available for every research topic, we suggest consulting with a supervisor to determine the most suitable project and degree path.
During your postgraduate research program, you'll undertake a specialized research project and produce a thesis with guidance from your academic advisor(s).

The maximum thesis length requirements are:

35,000 words for an MRes
60,000 words for an MPhil
100,000 words for a PhD or DM
These limits include all supplementary materials such as appendices, footnotes, tables, and references.

Your final assessment will involve an oral defense (viva voce) where you'll present your research findings to an evaluation committee.

Successful completion of your viva examination leads to degree conferral.
