Our core biological research examines molecular processes governing growth, development, and physiological functions in plants and animals across cellular, tissue, and organism-wide levels.

For plant studies, we mainly utilize Arabidopsis as a model system, exploring fundamental mechanisms in leaf, flower, fruit, and seed formation. A significant emphasis lies on plant hormones and their crucial function in regulating growth patterns, developmental stages, and root responses. Our research also extensively investigates the molecular foundations of soil nutrient absorption and stress adaptation in plants.
