Biology is the study of living organisms, examining their composition, operations, development, beginnings, adaptation, and geographical spread. This field encompasses numerous specialized areas, and our MPhil/PhD program enables candidates to pursue investigations within their chosen disciplines. Participants can enhance their research capabilities through skill-building workshops offered by the University. With mentorship from PhD advisors, students will have opportunities to deliver presentations and lead discussions about their projects, both at the University of Lincoln and at academic gatherings worldwide. Doctoral candidates, under supervisor direction, will prepare advancement reports, refine their academic writing for scholarly publications, and ultimately articulate their findings and dissertation effectively. In addition to acquiring subject-specific research techniques (such as molecular lab procedures or animal behavior studies), pursuing a research degree cultivates versatile competencies including analytical thinking, scheduling proficiency, collaborative and autonomous work approaches, and effective information sharing.
