Nicholas Alfrey explores how the French responded to Constable's artwork displays in 1824 and 1826. Ting Chang authored a volume documenting European travelers and collectors of Asian art, along with the Parisian museums they established during the late 1800s. Her current research focuses on unconventional 19th-century British and French depictions of China, including educational toys, optical instruments, panoramas, and other visual entertainments often overlooked by art scholars.

Fintan Cullen investigates themes of national identity in artistic portrayals of Ireland's colonial ties with Britain spanning the 18th to 20th centuries. He's currently authoring a publication about Irish artists' emigration patterns throughout the extended 19th century.

Richard Wrigley has published several works, including a study on French artists' encounters with and depictions of Rome during the 18th and 19th centuries. He will organize an exhibition featuring Scottish photographer Robert Macpherson's Roman imagery.
