Archaeology bridges the gap between science and humanities to investigate our collective human history.
This program enables you to experience diverse scientific methods in both lab and field settings. You'll analyze animal remains, human bones, and ancient artifacts using approaches from DNA research to chemical testing and isotopic studies. Additionally, you can investigate civilizations across various time periods and global locations.
The curriculum includes 20 days of hands-on archaeological fieldwork. You may participate in an authorized dig or related placement, either domestically or internationally.
Through the essential 'Communicating the Past' module, you'll explore effective heritage presentation techniques, collaborating in teams to develop an engaging educational activity based on your research.
