Our PhD/MPhil Reproductive Sciences program allows you to conduct a research study aimed at advancing knowledge in Reproductive Sciences. This field supports both clinical and academic research initiatives focused on enhancing the safety and effectiveness of assisted reproductive technologies like IVF. Our key objectives include: 1. investigating the biochemical and molecular processes in early human embryo development, particularly how IVF techniques and laboratory conditions influence these processes, 2. utilizing IVF as an ethical model system to study how early developmental factors affect long-term health outcomes, 3. examining the biological environment surrounding conception (both natural and artificial) and its role in developmental programming, 4. employing stem cell models derived from human embryos to better understand early developmental mechanisms.
