The PhD/MPhil Environmental Biology program allows you to pursue a research initiative aimed at advancing knowledge in Environmental Biology. Over millions of years, animals, microbes, and plants have evolved to thrive in specific environmental conditions.

These organisms must continually adapt to various changes—whether biological, non-living factors, or increasingly, human-induced alterations contributing to worldwide ecological shifts.

Investigating how species adapt and interact within both natural and artificial ecosystems requires diverse methodologies, spanning from molecular techniques to population-level studies.

Cutting-edge controlled environment facilities enable precise regulation of climatic factors and examination of interspecies dynamics, featuring specialized chambers, animal housing, and insect rearing spaces.
