Our PhD/MPhil Cancer Sciences program allows you to pursue a research initiative focused on advancing knowledge in Cancer Sciences. This field encompasses diverse research efforts to enhance comprehension of cancer's origins and biological mechanisms while developing innovative strategies for prevention, treatment, diagnosis, and disease monitoring. The research integrates multiple disciplines, employing techniques from molecular and cell biology, bioinformatics, structural biology, imaging, metabolomics, and both medicinal and analytical chemistry to address fundamental questions about cancer development, therapeutic target identification, and improved methods for disease diagnosis and treatment monitoring. The PhD/MPhil options involve dedicated research projects spanning three to four years (PhD) or one year (MPhil), conducted under the guidance of a Primary Supervisor and supporting Co-Supervisor(s). Candidates are carefully paired with supervisors and projects aligned with their academic background and research interests.
