Manchester's civil engineering program helps you build a strong base for your career through a four-year MEng degree. This course equips you with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to join an industry that fundamentally supports modern society.
Civil engineering focuses on creating and maintaining our infrastructure - including structures, transportation networks, and more - while addressing their impact on our planet and communities.
A-level AAA including Mathematics and Physics and one other subject. We are willing to consider applicants without Physics if they have studied Further Mathematics; applications will be considered on a case by case basis. GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education, typically five GCSEs/iGCSEs, including acceptable levels of literacy and numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade C/4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics. GCSE/iGCSE English Literature will not be accepted in lieu of GCSE/iGCSE English Language. International Baccalaureate 36 points overall with 6,6,6 at Higher Level, including Mathematics and Physics and one other subject. We accept Mathematics: analysis and approaches or Mathematics: applications and interpretation. IELTS 6.5 overall with no sub-test below 6.5 TOEFL iBT 90 with no sub-test below 22 Pearson PTE 70 overall with no sub-test below 70
