Civil Engineers must stay current with worldwide advancements to address the needs of an evolving global landscape. This program prepares graduates with the essential expertise, competencies, and professional conduct required in Civil Engineering. You'll develop skills to utilize digital tools for constructing virtual prototypes of engineering projects, enabling you to transform physical environments while addressing climate change challenges for infrastructure and communities.
The curriculum covers engineering problem-solving, design principles, practical applications, sustainability and climate crises, structural evaluation, sophisticated modeling, automation and digital tools, innovative materials, energy efficiency in modern construction and transportation systems, fluid mechanics, and soil mechanics.

UCAS tariff points: 112-128 for BEng (Hons), 64 for BEng (Hons) including foundation year from Level 3 qualifications.
A-level
A-level (or equivalent) in Mathematics at grade C or above.
General studies and Native language at both A-Level and AS Level not accepted in the tariff.
BTEC level
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering including Construction and Built Environment, including minimum Merit in Maths and Further Maths
BTEC Level 3 National Diploma with D*D* and in addition must hold an A-level in Maths with a minimum grade of C.
Access HE diploma is not accepted.
Degree apprenticeship route
Same detailed entry requirements as above. To include: five GCSEs at grade C/4 including English and Mathematics. Sponsorship from an approved employer within the industry.
Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
