Civil engineers create the essential infrastructure that keeps our world functioning, from towering skyscrapers and magnificent bridges to transportation systems, medical facilities, and protective flood barriers. This program offers the foundational education required to achieve professional chartered engineer status. Like the BEng degree, you'll master core civil engineering concepts and current industry advancements, while the additional Master's year delivers a more comprehensive, detailed grasp of the discipline. With over five decades of engineering education experience, our School has built a distinguished global reputation. Past students from the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science have undertaken placements with industry leaders such as Jaguar Land Rover, Airbus Space and Defence, and Microsoft.
