Our BSc Pharmacology with Entrepreneurship program allows you to blend scientific knowledge with essential business competencies - a crucial factor for career readiness. You'll investigate how drugs interact with biological systems, examining their mechanisms, metabolic pathways, and potential toxicities. This comprehensive understanding involves studying drug effects across various scales, from molecular interactions to whole-body responses. The curriculum incorporates elements of molecular biology, chemistry, physiology, and neuroscience, while exploring both existing medications and novel drug development. Entrepreneurship modules are delivered through the University's Masood (Manchester) Enterprise Centre (MEC) within the Alliance Manchester Business School, providing vital training in commercial innovation. Additionally, the program features a mandatory industry year for either research or business experience.
