Our BSc Pharmacology program delves into these topics and beyond. Our faculty are actively engaged in research and are recognized experts in their fields, with affiliations to prestigious organizations such as the British Pharmacological Society, Biochemical Society, British Neuroscience Association, and British Neuro-Oncology Society. This hands-on pharmacology degree examines how drugs interact with biological systems. You'll investigate disease mechanisms, study drug effects on physiological processes, and explore therapeutic interventions for various conditions. The curriculum covers drug discovery and development processes, with ample laboratory opportunities to examine drug interactions at molecular, cellular, and organismal levels. This program provides excellent preparation for pharmaceutical industry careers and serves as strong foundation for postgraduate studies or academic research positions. Many graduates pursue advanced degrees (MSc, medical/dental programs) or research opportunities (MRes, PhD, industry roles).
