Our BA in Italian Studies equips you with advanced Italian language proficiency while providing comprehensive insights into Italian culture and society, delivered by experts in these disciplines. The program also includes a linguistics track for students fascinated by the evolution of the Italian language and its regional variations. Native Italian instructors lead language courses, covering comprehension, translation, grammar, and conversational practice. Your third year will be spent abroad in Italy, either studying or gaining professional experience. Options include internships, teaching English through the British Council assistantship program, or participating in our well-regarded Erasmus exchanges to cities like Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Ferrara, Macerata, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, and Siena.

A-level Grades ABB. GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education including acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade C or 4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics.
