This program enables you to gain comprehensive understanding of Hispanic language and culture while integrating theater and performance studies through practical and theoretical approaches.

You'll have access to the combined expertise of both departments, including cultural and historical courses from Modern Languages, along with specialized theater studies covering African theater traditions, modern European performance, community-based theater, and dramatic writing.

Typically, you'll have the option to spend your second or third year studying abroad, fully engaging with Hispanic culture in Spain, the Caribbean, or South America.
