The Master of Science in Palaeoanthropology offers a comprehensive grounding in human evolution studies for those fascinated by our origins. This course delivers an in-depth exploration and analysis of key topics in human evolutionary science. With a focus on research-led instruction and hands-on learning, the program equips students with excellent preparation for doctoral studies. You'll also develop specialized expertise in a particular palaeoanthropological field to pursue professional opportunities in this or adjacent areas.
Your studies will culminate in a 15,000-20,000 word thesis focusing on a specific element of human evolution.
Our teaching philosophy prioritizes adaptability, guidance, motivation, and intellectual rigor. For instance, students unfamiliar with certain subjects are encouraged to attend relevant third-year undergraduate lectures from our Evolutionary Anthropology program.
