A Bachelor of Science in Zoology with Honors equips students with expertise and skills applicable not just to zoology careers, but also to opportunities in environmental science, agriculture, and pharmaceutical sectors. The curriculum covers diverse subjects such as behavioral studies of animals, conservation science, ecosystem studies, evolutionary biology, and physiological processes in animals, while allowing for specialization and independent research projects.
From the outset, we provide career guidance services, enabling students to explore professional options both within and beyond zoological sciences.
Through hands-on laboratory work and collaborative projects, students cultivate essential transferable competencies in effective communication, teamwork, project coordination, and digital literacy.

Applicants with the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) are eligible for a reduction in grade requirements. For this course, the offer is BBB with A in the EPQ.
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma
D*DD in Applied Science with a selection of preferred units in Biology and Chemistry, to include Distinction in Units 1 and 5 (Principles and Applications of Science I and II).
For previous BTEC (QCF) qualification:
D*DD in Applied Science with a selection of preferred units in Biology and Chemistry, with at least 120 Level 3 credits at Distinction.
International Baccalaureate
33 points, including 6 in Higher Level Biology, and 5 in another Higher Level Subject
Irish Leaving Certificate H1, H2, H2, H2, H3, H3 including grade H2 in both of High level Biology and second science.
IELTS - IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
TOEFL - Minimum 88 overall with L 17 W 17 R 17 and S 19
