Our Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Zoology program takes a multidisciplinary approach to the subject. Students will explore diverse topics, delving into animal molecular biology, genetics, and physiology while investigating how these elements influence evolutionary processes and behavioral patterns, with systems biology integrating these components.
Whether focusing on animal evolution and behavior, movement physiology and ecology, population genetics, or tropical animal biology, the curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning. Students will acquire extensive field, lab, and analytical techniques that are crucial for zoological studies and highly beneficial for professional advancement.
While our state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment provide excellent resources, we recognize the unparalleled value of fieldwork - offering potential opportunities for European and African field courses and research projects.
The zoology program also includes an optional additional year to broaden experiences, either through international study at partner institutions or via professional placements with businesses, government organizations, or nonprofit agencies.
