Our MSci Zoology program allows you to earn an integrated master's degree alongside your BSc studies, providing valuable research experience essential for pursuing a PhD or research career. You'll explore animal behavior, physiology, conservation, ecology, and evolution through diverse approaches - from genetic analysis to behavioral observation and advanced statistical methods. The curriculum begins with foundational concepts across multiple disciplines in Year 1, progressing to specialized zoology topics in Years 2 and 3. Your final year features an extensive research project conducted in one of the University's 200+ laboratories to complete your master's qualification. Fieldwork plays a key role in our program, with two field courses (including a potential South Africa trip) in your first two years.
