The School of Social and Political Sciences offers postgraduate research opportunities shaped by its faculty's extensive academic experience and strong connections with government agencies, research institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Students can pursue investigations across diverse areas within social and political sciences. Ongoing student projects examine subjects such as: How parenting plans influence divorcing parents, and whether incorporating emotional and environmental factors could enhance sexual harassment prevention programs. The School provides options for both MPhil and PhD programs, typically completed through thesis work with full-time or part-time enrollment options. Dedicated support systems help students develop as autonomous researchers while following a structured progression plan with regular progress assessments. Each student receives guidance from two supervisors, with a focus on tailored skill development and knowledge advancement alongside necessary research training.
