They can participate in the Forensic Analysis Research Group's initiatives, pioneering new approaches to address criminal investigations and casework challenges. Current high-impact studies involve partnerships with the UK Home Office's Centre for Applied Science and Technology. The program provides comprehensive training resources for independent research, supported by an expert advisory team. Key research areas include chemical profiling of synthetic drugs, forensic DNA applications in both modern and ancient contexts, and toxicology investigations. The School's research concentrates on synthetic drug analysis, DNA techniques for forensic and archaeological use, and toxicology studies.
