The Department of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Behavior is globally recognized for its outstanding research achievements. We provide PhD and MPhil supervision aligned with our faculty's expertise in key areas such as: Health and wellness, Cognitive judgment processes, Visual perception and linguistics, Animal behavior mechanisms, and Neural systems. Doctoral candidates undertake an independent research initiative mentored by an advisory panel, typically spanning 3-3.5 years (full-time) or 6-6.5 years (part-time). An additional year (or remaining period) may be utilized for thesis preparation. The dissertation, capped at 50,000 words, must demonstrate novel scholarly contributions and include publishable research. Final degree conferral requires successful defense of the thesis during an oral examination (viva voce).
