The Department of Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour is globally recognized for its outstanding research. We provide PhD and MPhil supervision aligned with our faculty's expertise, covering fields such as: Health and wellness, Decision-making processes, Visual perception and linguistics, Animal behavior mechanisms, and Neural systems. Doctoral candidates undertake an independent research initiative supported by an advisory team. Typically, full-time students complete their research within 3.0-3.5 years, while part-time students have 6.0-6.5 years. An additional year (or remaining portion) may be used for thesis preparation. The dissertation, limited to 50,000 words, must present novel findings and meet publication standards. Final degree conferral requires successful defense of the thesis in an oral examination.
