We are a multidisciplinary group of criminology experts focused on intensive research. For over three decades, we've maintained outstanding standards in education, scholarly investigation, business initiatives, and professional development. Our research influences global policies. Doctoral candidates undertake self-directed research projects with support from a supervisory team. The maximum enrollment duration before thesis submission is 4 years for full-time students or 7 years for part-time students. Typically, active research (encompassing experiments, lab work, fieldwork, and data gathering) spans 3 to 3.5 years full-time or 6 to 6.5 years part-time. After completing active research, students may apply for a writing-up period lasting up to one year. The combined duration of active research and writing-up cannot surpass the maximum enrollment period. Theses generally shouldn't exceed 80,000 words and must present original findings worthy of publication. Candidates must successfully defend their thesis in an oral examination (viva voce) to receive their degree.
