Our PGCE programs combine theoretical learning on campus with practical teaching placements. The campus sessions establish core teaching principles, while school placements allow you to implement these concepts across diverse classroom environments. You'll gain experience in different school settings - including urban, suburban, and rural locations within both state and independent sectors. Our faculty consists of education experts with substantial teaching backgrounds. By integrating research from across the education field with hands-on teaching practice, we create optimal conditions for our trainees to develop as thoughtful, skilled educators.

Qualification Requirements
Students need to have: 2:1 degree for English, Geography, History or Social Science; 2:2 degree for Maths, MFL, Sciences or RE; GCSE Grade C or above in English Language and Maths; A-levels (or equivalent) in relevant subjects. Although not essential, you may find it useful to have recent experience working with children and/or observing teaching in a school setting, ideally relating to the age range/subject you wish to teach. When writing your application you should try to reflect on your experience and tell us what you learnt. English Language Requirements: You must have a GCSE Grade C in English Language.
