The Biological Sciences (Zoology) program allows you to study both theoretical and applied aspects of animal biology and biodiversity, covering areas such as animal behavior, developmental biology, ecological systems, evolutionary processes, and physiological functions. You'll develop a thorough, contemporary understanding of zoological methodologies and gain hands-on experience with the tools scientists use to investigate critical questions in neurobiology, behavioral studies, ecological systems, and evolutionary biology. Your laboratory sessions and classroom learning will be complemented by field studies, including international field trips. This program mirrors the initial three years of the MBiolSci in Biological Sciences (Zoology). The broader Biological Science curriculum examines key biological and molecular principles across diverse life forms, from microorganisms and fungi to animals and plants. With all 14 programs sharing a foundational first year, you have the flexibility to switch to another degree by the end of Year 1.
