Pursuing a PhD enables you to deeply investigate a subject you're passionate about while advancing knowledge in your discipline. You'll undertake a substantial independent research project on a self-selected topic, culminating in a thesis of roughly 100,000 words. You'll be mentored by either one primary supervisor or two collaborating supervisors who are experts in your research area. The program begins with orientation activities to equip you for doctoral research, followed by ongoing access to academic skills training. Early in your studies, you'll collaborate with supervisors to define your project's framework, content, and timeline, ensuring your work makes an original scholarly impact and can be completed within the designated period.
