Pursuing a postgraduate research degree requires strong dedication and enthusiasm for your chosen field. The journey is demanding but immensely fulfilling. As a doctoral candidate, you'll conduct specialized research under the guidance of a principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors.

The evolving energy sector will play a pivotal role in the world economy. Rapid advancements in energy technologies, combined with the exponential growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and Information Communication Technologies (ICT), will dramatically transform how we live. These changes will affect everything from energy production, conversion, and distribution to manufacturing processes and service delivery. True sustainability can only be achieved when the entire energy cycle is sustainable. Our research team tackles critical issues across all phases of electrical power systems, including generation, conversion, transmission, distribution, and final usage. We strive to develop sustainable, cutting-edge solutions for the power sector, helping create an eco-friendly future with reliable energy access and reasonable costs.
