We tackle complex problems in contemporary theoretical physics. Our work spans diverse areas including black holes, quantum gravity, quantum field theory, quantum information processing, quantum optics, condensed matter physics, and computational biophysics. For instance, we help advance emerging quantum technologies and gain insights into biological systems via computational modeling. We maintain robust partnerships with numerous research teams and academic institutions at the University of Leeds, across the UK, and internationally.
Our investigations of innovative materials and quantum many-body systems find uses in condensed matter physics, particularly in implementing quantum computing and precision measurement technologies. Additionally, our computational studies in quantum chemistry and macromolecular systems contribute to developing new materials for artificial photosynthesis and creating groundbreaking medical applications in biophysics.
