The Masters by Research program offers you the opportunity to conduct in-depth independent research at the Masters level under the mentorship of IDEA Centre faculty. You'll develop and execute a research project on a subject of your choosing, supported by two co-supervisors, culminating in a thesis of approximately 30,000 words. The Ethics and Climate Change research strand examines professional responsibilities in addressing global environmental issues tied to climate change. This interdisciplinary initiative fosters collaboration, especially between engineering and historical perspectives. Key initiatives include Rob Lawlor's Climate Change, Ethics and Responsibility project. Additionally, we collaborate with the University's Sustainability Research Institute, including doctoral supervision in environmental ethics research.
