An MSc or MA by Research offers a self-directed approach to learning, where your evaluation and degree are based on research work. Pursuing an MA or MSc by Research provides a rewarding yet demanding chance to enhance your analytical abilities and scholarly focus in a specific area. This Research Masters is a year-long investigation (or two years part-time), differing from traditional taught Master's programs as it focuses on designing, executing, and documenting a research initiative. You'll receive guidance from two faculty supervisors and have the opportunity to publish your findings upon completion.

Our investigations focus on critical issues in climate science and its effects. We examine pressing societal concerns such as glacial melting, the relationship between air quality and climate patterns, and global food supply stability. Through insights gained from historical and current climate data, we produce impactful research on environmental change and its consequences, supporting better preparedness and policy-making for the future.
