With the MA by Research (MAR), you'll undertake independent original research that offers deep insight into your selected field.
The Arabic, Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies department is a dynamic, multidisciplinary research hub within the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies. Qualification Requirements
You must have achieved a bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons), or equivalent, or a good performance in a Masters level course in a relevant subject.
Applicants to research degree programmes should normally have at least a first class or an upper second class bachelors honours degree in an appropriate discipline
IELTS score is an overall band score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component.
TOEFL iBT score is no less than 92, with at least 21 in Listening, 21 in Reading, 23 in Speaking and 22 in Writing.
