Earth's surface is remarkably dynamic, experiencing rapid shifts in environmental conditions due to the complex interactions between physical, biological, chemical, and geological forces. There's growing demand for specialized expertise to analyze and understand these environmental transformations, placing environmental geoscientists at the forefront of addressing pressing challenges related to human interactions with Earth's surface and subsurface layers.
Our Environmental Geoscience program provides comprehensive knowledge of Earth systems, emphasizing the interplay between surface and near-surface processes. You'll develop long-term perspectives on landscape evolution both above and below water. Through applying this understanding to Earth's resources or climate change mitigation, you'll acquire skills to address crucial societal challenges.

Qualification Requirements
A-level- ABB including two from: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Environmental Science, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Geography, and Marine Science. If Geography and Geology are taken together, another science is preferred as a third subject.
Where an A-Level Science subject is taken, we require a pass in the practical science element, alongside the achievement of the A-Level at the stated grade.
International Baccalaureate
16 points at higher level to include at least 5 points in two relevant subjects, one of which must be in mathematics or a science subject.
IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any component.
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) taken at a test centre with 80 overall and no less than 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 19 in writing.
