At Leeds, you can pursue international relations alongside one of 10 language options. This four-year program explores contemporary global issues and the challenges confronting key actors in international affairs. Elective subjects cover current disputes in international relations and security, decolonial perspectives, cross-cultural social movements, as well as translation studies. You'll delve into the culture and society of nations where your selected language is spoken. Intensive language training prepares you for your compulsory year abroad, where you'll refine your language proficiency while gaining deeper insight into your host country's international engagements.
