The Korean program provides diverse course options encompassing language acquisition as well as Korean history, cultural studies, linguistics, and political science. Language instruction begins at the introductory level, developing all core competencies: speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Our interactive classes incorporate engaging activities and conversation sessions led by native Korean speakers, offering ample practice opportunities. Beyond coursework, we facilitate numerous Korean studies experiences. Annual events include Korean speech and poetry competitions to expand creative language use. Academic talks feature leading scholars presenting cutting-edge research. The popular Korean Festival sees students actively participating in culinary demonstrations, traditional attire experiences, and K-pop performances.
