Our BA (Hons) Modern Languages program allows you to master two languages while offering the option to learn a third. You'll enhance both academic understanding and practical application of your selected languages, including translation and interpretation skills.
The curriculum goes beyond grammar and vocabulary, exploring cultural and societal contexts through discussions of history, politics, cinema, literature, and more. While language mastery is invaluable, you'll also cultivate professional abilities like time management and collaboration.
Gain international experience through study or work placements abroad to boost your linguistic abilities, self-assurance, and cultural awareness.
Select two languages from Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish, with the possibility of adding another later in your studies.

If you wish to study your chosen language at post A-Level you should have previously studied it at A2 Level, inclusive of the entry tariffs below.
