Spanning British, Irish, American, Indigenous, Postcolonial, and global literatures, our English Literature and Creative Writing program at Kent offers a truly international, innovative, dynamic, and engaging experience. Creativity forms the core of this course, allowing you to tailor your studies to your passions—whether creating a documentary, designing a video game narrative, curating a journal, crafting poetry, penning a novella, or conceptualizing an exhibition. Explore multiple genres, deepening existing interests or uncovering new ones. From Jane Austen to Shakespeare, dystopian tales to gothic horror, or contemporary poetry, we focus on the literature that inspires you.
