This program delivers a comprehensive, high-standard education in psychology. Designed as a conversion course, it caters to graduates from all academic backgrounds, including those with prior psychology studies that weren't accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Instruction comes from faculty with diverse research expertise spanning seven key domains: Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Biological Psychology, Individual Differences, Research Methods, and Conceptual and Historical Issues in Psychology.
You'll examine both quantitative and qualitative research approaches along with data analysis techniques, equipping you to undertake your own research project under expert supervision.
Ethical considerations form a core component, with instruction covering research ethics and their broader relevance to professional settings and society.
Elective modules offer perspectives on specialized fields including forensic, educational, and health psychology.
Upon completion, graduates currently qualify for Graduate Basis Chartered membership (GBC) with the BPS, enabling application for advanced postgraduate programs with BPS accreditation.
