Dive into your passion for nature through our 4-year BSc (Hons) Environmental Science program, which offers specialized pathways in Environmental Biology, Environmental Biotechnology, and Environmental Science with Archaeology.
Scotland's Highlands and Islands provide an unparalleled learning environment. From the recently designated Flow Country World Heritage Site (the world's first peatland heritage site) to Cairngorms National Park, our region serves as a remarkable natural laboratory. You'll build essential scientific and analytical abilities while utilizing cutting-edge lab facilities across our university network. Each academic year includes hands-on modules with fieldwork opportunities across the region, plus an international expedition in your second year. These immersive experiences let you refine your research skills amidst Scotland's and Iceland's most breathtaking ecosystems. For those interested in gaining professional experience, we also offer a 5-year BSc (Hons) Environmental Science program with an industry placement year.
Alternatively, Foundation Apprenticeship Scientific Technologies (Laboratory Skills) PLUS an additional Scottish Higher at grade C or above and National 5 at grade C or above (or equivalent)
 
English Language requirement - Students need to have IELTS - Overall score of 6.0 with no element below 5.5; TOELF - Min 78 or above with min 18 in each section
