The BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering program is tailored to address industry needs for versatile engineers with comprehensive expertise across multiple engineering fields, including up-to-date technological knowledge and practical industry experience. Graduates will develop high-level proficiency in various engineering and technological areas, encompassing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and management capabilities, significantly enhancing their employability. This multidisciplinary program equips students with essential skills valued across diverse industries, particularly in renewable energy. Additionally, students gain advantages from our established partnerships with engineering firms throughout the Highlands and Islands region, along with hands-on industry projects integrated into the curriculum.
Year 1 of this course is a relevant HNC, such as HNC Engineering (Systems pathway), with a pass in Engineering Mathematics 2
