The Clinical MD program is specifically tailored for international medical professionals in the early stages of their careers who want to pursue extensive independent research while enhancing their clinical expertise in general internal medicine. This program offers the qualifications needed to specialize in general internal medicine in your home country. You'll conduct original research on innovative medical treatments or healthcare systems, alongside focused studies in general internal medicine complemented by clinical rotations at NHS hospitals. Required clearances must be completed before beginning clinical rotations. Your research will focus on groundbreaking medical approaches or healthcare models, integrated with specialized training in general internal medicine through hands-on experience at NHS facilities. These clinical rotations involve participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, team meetings, hospital-wide seminars, and specialized medical procedures (such as cardiac catheterizations and endoscopic examinations).
