This Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program expands upon the School of Engineering and Computer Science's established research and instructional strengths, meeting increasing needs from both public and private sectors for professionals with these specialized capabilities. The curriculum focuses heavily on hands-on learning to develop proficiency with modern Robotics and AI tools and applications. Students will master fundamental robotics construction techniques - including electronic circuits, software programming, and control systems - while progressing to sophisticated robotic intelligence concepts, gaining practical experience in bringing robotic solutions to fruition. The program offers comprehensive training in robotic system creation, covering everything from hardware prototyping to implementing cutting-edge AI algorithms for real-world robotic functionality.
