Mechanical engineers play a vital role in today's world, blending creativity with technical expertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions for various industries and societal needs. They operate across all industrial sectors, creating and producing high-quality products using optimized manufacturing methods. Opting for the MEng program provides a faster pathway to achieving Chartered Engineer status compared to the BEng. This program enables you to deepen and broaden your mechanical engineering expertise during the final two years. You'll gain specialized knowledge in design and management, along with essential skills for overseeing multidisciplinary engineering projects. A unique feature of this MEng Mechanical Engineering (International) degree is the opportunity to spend one semester studying engineering in English at an overseas partner institution, with over 65 university options across four continents. The sandwich course variant incorporates a year-long industrial placement between your second and third academic years, offering valuable professional experience. During this placement, you'll receive a salary while developing practical skills in your chosen field.
