Our law and criminology program is designed for students seeking comprehensive legal education combined with insights into criminal behavior, its impacts, and prevention strategies.
The curriculum covers fundamental legal subjects like Criminal Law and Public Law, with options to specialize in areas such as Immigration Law or Environmental Law during your final year.
Criminology electives include Policing, Understanding Deviance, or Penology, examining societal perspectives on crime. The Forensic Criminology alternative (replacing Understanding Deviance) introduces forensic psychology and crime scene analysis techniques.
Practical career-building opportunities enhance the program, including mentorship initiatives, work at our Legal Advice Center, participation in Innocence Project London, the Community Street Law Project, and simulated court proceedings through moots and mock trials.
