Our combined sociology and psychology program examines both societal structures and individual psychology, addressing key topics like gender identity, interpersonal dynamics, and systemic social disparities.

The psychology component of our BSc Hons Sociology and Psychology program provides insights into cognitive processes, human behavior, and subjective experiences. The curriculum covers areas including sensory perception, memory formation, emotional responses, and language acquisition. Simultaneously, you'll investigate societal mechanisms through sociological lenses like equity studies, gender theory, criminology, and cultural diversity.

These complementary disciplines converge through examination of psychosocial dynamics that influence both personal relationships and broader social interactions.

Graduates of our sociology and psychology program pursue professional paths in fields including social services and community development
