This dynamic program delivers the theoretical foundations, practical skills, and hands-on training required to surge ahead in motorsports engineering.

This interdisciplinary course merges core engineering principles with design expertise, manufacturing proficiency, and authentic racing experience through our industry partnerships. We prepare students with specialized knowledge in automotive performance engineering and motorsport applications, covering critical areas like data interpretation, performance enhancement, aerodynamic systems, safety protocols, complete vehicle and component design, and production techniques. Additionally, we cultivate commercially relevant business acumen and complementary management competencies.

Industry experts from motorsport and performance engineering deliver specialized seminars, while collaborative work on active projects provides real-world experience to launch your career. Hands-on learning opportunities include employing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for sports car aerodynamic simulations, component testing using our impact and tensile analysis equipment, and direct involvement in current motorsport initiatives.

104 UCAS points. We accept a full range of qualifications that carry UCAS points, including A-levels, BTECs and T levels. You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent), including English, Mathematics and Science. IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 for Undergraduate (no less than 5.5 in any component) TOEFL (ibt) - overall score of 80 including 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking
